2012!

Well, the year 2012 was fast and furious. Ella J. is growing just as fast and furious at the year went by. She is now 19 months and full of hugs, kisses, and love. She is such a little sweetheart. She loves to cuddle, play, and look at books. I'm amazed at how long she will sit and look at books all by herself. If the house is quiet, I know that is what she is doing, I will find her next to the bookshelf looking at her books. Her words are coming fast and furious as well. She is very kind with her "Thank you" and "Excuse me". But of course her favorite is "NO!" I'm wondering what her hair color will be. It's not light, it's not dark but almost strawberry color...oh my! Here are some pics from 2012 for you to enjoy.

I'm growing!

Well as usual time is flying by...Ella is growing, it seems, faster than Mattie did when she was a baby. I think it may have something to do with being #2. Ella is about 16 lbs. now and eating like crazy. She hasn't turned up her nose to anything yet. She loves veggies, the meats (especially ham), and she just started fruit with her oatmeal. She is "army crawling" her way around these days, but closer to crawling every day. She likes to cruise around the house in her walker...she now chases after her big sister. Here are some recent pictures I took. The sweater is a Christmas gift from Granny...its beautiful! Enjoy.

5 Months!!

Ella is 5 months old already...where does the time go. She is such a laid back baby...smiles all the time, barely cries. We are so blessed! She is growing up so fast...almost 15 lbs. and getting tall but we don't think she will be as tall as Mattie. Here are some pics for you to enjoy. Ella is really camera friendly, she loves to have her picture taken.

Growing every day!

Ella is growing every day! She weighs 10 lbs. 6.5 oz. and 21 3/4 inches long. She is smiling, laughing, and cooing alot. She is sleeping 4-5 hours in the night (it could be worse:)! She eats every 2-2 1/2 hours unless she is sleeping comfortably. She sleeps best in her swing...it doesn't need to be moving...she is just more comfortable at an incline. She is a very good baby! Sister Mattie loves to hold her and has even given her a bottle or two.
